The crowd was booing

The riders were protesting
With an American twang

End it in a wiggle
Instead I broke free
And solved the riddle

I took off like a bird
And the sky was getting closer
The crowd was speechless
Riders kneeled and prayed
My baby leaned forward
and yelled « will you be my lover? »
« I don’t think I can answer
I’m a bull in a cage »

But I felt so high
As we kept on flying higher
From a bull to an eagle
She’d freed me from my rage
So I spread my wings and yelled
« I wanna be your lover »
And I swooped down to the arena
Like a metal paper plane
And my lover
She leaned further
And stroked my courage with her hand

We landed in the dust
And the bulls looked jealous
My lover looked stunning
And the riders looked vicious

The crowd was cheering
And reporters took her photo
Cause she was the queen
Of the rodeo

She got on my back
And we headed to the meadow
We lived on love alone
And on her rodeo dinero

She ended up on TV
And on the radio
Cause she was the queen
Of the rodeo
